The latest baby in the smartwatches world, and the first one to run a unique OS, the Watch OS from Apple. The Apple watch had an enormous launch, the company sold more units than all the AndroidWear watches combined, which made it more wanted from the geeks, but in fact, and at this moment, the Apple Watch does not really have what’s needed the beat android wear devices, in fact, the latters are full with extra feature.

Not that much people are talking about it, but the Sony SmartWatch 3 has its own characteristics, the device has its built in GPS, which making it special compared to its rivals, the 1.6-inch, 320 x 320 LDC display is not that attractive, a faded screen that is easily beaten by the Samsung AMOLED display, the device has a 4GB of internal storage space and a 1.2GHz Arm A7 processor.

It is not the best around at the moment, but its built in GPS and futuristic Wi-Fi and NFC integration can change your mind, specially with the recently unveiled Android Pay, the Sony SmartWatch 3 could have a great future.

LG smartwatches are holding on great in this competition, first with the LG G Watch that was a great watch, but it is not 2014 any more, so the LG G watch came out this year to mainly compete with the Moto 360, and it has done great! The LG G watch R has a great sporty look round shape that looks a lot like a normal watch, so for those who prefer a discrete look, this is your watch, it is not a fancy one, but it looks really great, in addition of a great battery life that beats the Moto 360.

Jonney Shih, the company’s CEO said that the smartwatch battery can last up to 7 days, but that was not the case, the Watch can last for up to 2 or 3 days on a  single charge. Price is still not communicated, stay tuned for the IFA.
