Best Wireless Earbuds Under $100 for 2018 – Top 5 List

When it comes to music listening preferences, there are couple available options, speakers, over the ears headphones, or earbuds, and since this is 2018, it is better to go with the wireless versions, in this post I will be talking about earbuds, bringing my Top 5 favorite Wireless Earbuds for under $100. I will guide through their features, and the pros and cons of each possible choice for you.

5

Legato Arc R72E

Number 5 is the Legato Arc, These guys are made by Spigen, they come with a neckband design which is my favorite approach since it is stable on the neck, these headphones are very lightweight, and pretty flexible, once on your neck, there are some useful features like the retractable cables, and also vibration alerts when receiving a call. The Legato arc comes also with a good 9 to 10 hours battery life.

On the sound department, you get a strong bass, but as I said in my full review, it sacrifices high and mid frequencies, but you also get a 3 step equalizer to choose from bass, mid and treble modes.

So this one is good for the simple design and the couple extra features, and it is good for workouts since it is lightweight. the sound is also good but the price was too high for it, but now the device is on sale and I can safely recommend it at this new price.

Legato Arc R72E

Legato Arc is equipped with one of the biggest driver (14 mm Phi receiver) that produce deep bass and sound quality!

$79.99 $99.99

So The selling point of these is the lightweight, the battery life, the comfort of use and the couple extras features like retractable cables and vibration alerts. The missing stuff are a slightly recessed sound, and the absence of waterproofness.

PROS:
  • Comfortable and Lightweight
  • Good Battery Life
  • Retractable Cables
  • Vibration Alerts

CONS:
  • Not Waterproof
  • Slightly recessed sound

Syllable D9X Truly Wireless

Number four is a truly wireless earbud, called the Syllable D9X, they look a little like the apple Airpods, but they are priced at less than half the price.

For about $70, you get a well designed device, a detachable battery that sticks via magnet, and a total of 4 batteries that can be stored in this charging case. The eartips did a good job with sticking in the ears, so I was able to go training with them. The two buttons on the sides helps controlling the music and calls, but you cannot change the volume, you need your phone for that. This is not waterproof, so be aware of strong rain.

The selling point of these is the package you’re getting, and that’s the charging case, the two extra batteries with magnets, which gives you more freedom when it comes to battery life, and this cool carrying pouch too.

Completely wireless with an affordable price

$79.99

The missing thing here is the waterproofness, and some sound improvements because the mids are a little recessed, but as as I said, for $70, I think it is hard to find better truly wireless options with the same quality.

PROS:
  • Good Hardware and Package
  • Extra Battery
  • Magnetic System
  • Good fit on ears
  • Carrying Pouch

CONS:
  • Not Waterproof
  • Slightly recessed mids

3

VEENAX Pogo

Number 3 is a very affordable one, it comes at only $32 and I’m actually stunned by the sound it delivers, it is not the best on this list, but actually for the price, I cannot ask for more, the bass is warm and clean, and mids and highs are not over compressed, you get a pretty balanced sound.

Also on the design part you get pretty clean one, the build is almost all plastic, aside from this metallic part that gives a premium look, you have the in line control buttons for skipping songs, powering on and off the earbuds and answering phone calls.

And the nifty thing is this magnetic earpieces, you can actually stick them together when not using them, so they do not fall when you’re walking, unfortunately, this magnetic action does not pause your song, that would have been great. You also get a cool leather textured carrying pouch which is handy for travel

So no crazy features here, you actually get nothing as a plus, no waterproofness, no active noise canceling, and no vibration alerts.

VEENAX Pogo Wireless Fitness Headphones

Good fit and sound for a less price

$32.99

The selling point of these is simply the sound you get for the price, the simple design, and a decent battery life since you get about 6 hours.

The missing stuff for this price could be waterproofness in case you really need it. And the cheesy assistant voice you get when powering the device or skipping songs, that’s the only thing that makes them feel cheap.

PROS:
  • Good Design
  • Good Battery Life
  • Balanced Sound
  • Quality for the Price
  • Carrying Pouch

CONS:
  • Not Waterproof
  • Bad voice assistant

2

Leophile EEL

Number 2 on the list is Leophile EEL Bluetooth neckband, well this relatively new brand is proving to be among the best, these earbuds are under $50, and the sound is surprisingly great for the price. The device is silicon designed so it is very flexible and lightweight, also it is waterproof so you can use it in rainy days, this one was my daily music companion for several months, and I practically got no complaints, the only annoying thing was the sound leak at maximum volume, but I don’t always listen at max volume.

The sound is very balanced, you can clearly hear all frequencies without any sound recession, bass is warm and not overtaking other instruments.

LEOPHILE EEL Wireless Neckband Headphones

a flexible, comfortable and good sounding headphones

$49.99

The selling point of these are the simple and comfortable design, waterproofness and the good clean sound, while the missing thing is maybe a retractable cable to hide this one, and the small sound leak.

PROS:
  • Good Comfortable Design
  • Good Battery Life
  • Balanced Sound
  • Waterproofness
  • Flexible Material

CONS:
  • Sound Leak
  • Lack of retractable cables

1

Leophile ZERO

Last but not least is my favorite  device under $100, it is also from Leophile, called the Leophile ZERO Bluetooth neckband, these guys cost 99$, and I can safely say if you got exactly that budget, get this one, this comes with a premium design, featuring a leather neckband, and plastic sides with metallic touch to them.

So sound wise, there are great, powerful bass, and clean balanced sound, and the cherry on top is the active noise cancelling, you got a dedicated button to turn it on and off, although it is not the best ANC I have tried, it is good enough for the price.

when paired to your phone, the headphones will vibrate on your neck when you get an incoming call, which I think is a handy feature, also battery life is the best I saw on an earbud, since you get up to 20 hours on a single charge, that’s huge

These are good for daily use when outside, in transit or when working, but I cannot recommend them for workout because they are not very lightweight.

Leophile ZERO Wireless Neckband Headphones

Comfort and pleasure in airplanes, subways and anywhere you like!

$99.99

So the selling point of these is the very good sound, the strong battery life, and the ANC, while the missing thing is waterproofness, and maybe the average ACN feature.

PROS:
  • Great Sound
  • Strong Battery Life
  • ANC
  • Premium Design

CONS:
  • Not Waterproof
  • Average ANC Feature

So this was the list guys, hope you liked it, feel free to leave your comments if you found this helpful.
