After announcing the Fitbit Blaze last month, the company did not wait for the latter’s reviews, but it has launched a new fitness tracker instead, it is called the Fitbit Alta and it is a cheaper and more basic version than the Blaze.
The Fitbit Alta comes with a simple plastic band equipped with an OLED display, the device will be able to track your basic activities like running, walking and automatically track your sleep, Alta can also automatically detect and record your activities like dancing, running or cycling, the device is not waterproof, but it is rain and splash proof, and with that $130 price, the Fitbit Alta cannot contain a GPS or a heart rate monitor.
