For three years, Misfit has been holding well on the market, and that’s since date when the first Misfit shine was launched, it has taken a little long for the company to launch another device, but now, Misfit is back with the Shine 2, a tweaked and improved version of the first shine.
This model comes with almost the same design, but with a slightly reduced thickness, the LED lights are still there, but now they are colored to more express your daily goals, the device keeps tracking your daily activities such as walked steps and distance, sleep quality and burned calories, well, like the older one does, so what it new with this version? The Misfit Shine 2 comes with new capabilities, the device will now allow you to control your home devices like controlling Hue lights and starting Spotify playlists with a tap, The Misfit’s director of mechanical design Adam Mack said: “We’ve packed a lot into Shine 2, adding more functionality into an even thinner form factor with the same battery life“. The shine 2 will be paired with the Misfit Link app allowing you for more control, IFTTT integration is also brought from the Misfit flash to the Shine 2.
The Misfit Shine 2 is available at the Misfit Store for a price of $99.99, you can choose between two colors, the black and the rose gold, the device will be also available in the in retail stores around the world starting November.
