CES 2016: Oculus Rift pre-orders are opened

Oculus took their time to finalize the consumer edition of the Rift VR headset, and after a long waiting from VR fans, and from the ones that just want to explore virtual reality, the company has finally made it to the end, and now, pre-orders are opened.

Just so you remember, Oculus was launched on a kickstarter campaign on 2012, the company has already shipped early developer editions for the early backers, and after about three years of work, the company has made it to come with a final product along side with HTC vive and PlayStation VR. The virtual reality headset was expected to start shipping on late March, but due to the large number of pre-orders, the company could push this date to the late June of 2016, also, early kickstarter backers will receive a free version of the Oculus Rift consumer edition.

Maybe you’re excited about it and maybe you’re going to get one since you can already do it starting from January the 6th, but wait to know about the price, the Oculus Rift is an expensive VR experience, the device will cost $599 and it will be shipped with the Valkyrie and Lucky’s Tale VR platform, are going to get it?!
