Street View app now support Virtual Reality

Google map was the only way you can pass by to enter the street view option, but since a little time, street view is a completely separate and stand alone mobile App, both for Android and iOS users.

The app is already on the Google Play store, but very soon, Street View will be supporting the Google cardboard, which mean that when you navigate through the app, a cardboard icon will be displayed on the screen, when tapping on it, the 360 degree photos will split in two to make your phone ready for virtual reality navigation using the Google cardboard.

Virtual reality was already supported on street view, but this is the first time the option is supported on the stand alone app. Several locations will be available for your first visit, so give it a try and download the app! of course if you already own a cardboard, if you don’t, you can get it from here.
