After unveiling the Pebble time a week a go, the color smartwatch second generation, today, the company has also unveiled a new version at the MWC, called the Pebble Time Steel. Like its name indicates, this new version is a premium evolution from the Pebble time, and it is all made of stainless steel, from the straps to the watch body, the device comes in three colors, black, gold and silver, and the good news is that will get the three straps for free when ordering the watch. The device will cost you $250.
In addition of the Pebble Time Steel, the company has unveiled an open hardware accessory platform so you can create “smartstraps“, which can be used in multiple functions such as adding a GPS to the strap or adding activity tracking sensors, you can also create a strap that extend the watche’s battery life, you can come with endless ideas. The Pebble Time Steel features a 10 days battery life and it will be shipped in July 2015.
